The KIM (Keep it Moving) Method specializes in virtual and in person barre, Pilates, yoga, dance cardio, and prenatal/postnatal private lessons, group classes, and corporate wellness events.  The KIM Method was founded in 2021 by veteran New York City fitness instructor, professional dancer, and mother of three, Kim D'Agnese,

Prior to founding The KIM Method, Kim taught barre at Physique 57, in New York City, serving as an instructor, master trainer and the company's music manager.  For Physique 57, Kim trained its instructors for its New York and Los Angeles locations, as well as its affiliates in the Philippines.  Additionally, Kim spent 10-years as a company member with the Lori Belilove & The Isadora Duncan Dance Company based in New York City.

Driven by Kim's infectious energy, The KIM Method was created and designed based upon the importance of proper technique and a continuous flow of sequences, to challenge beginners and veterans alike. The KIM Method is rooted in Kim's personal belief that fun and personal challenge are not mutually exclusive when it comes to your fitness.

Classes We Offer

Barre

Keep it Moving in a fast paced barre class equally devoted to fun, personal challenge, and proper technique for beginners and veterans alike.  

​

Wondering what "barre" is?  Barre is a full-body workout, blending exercises from ballet, Pilates, and yoga.  It focuses on low-impact, high intensity movements designed to strengthen and sculpt your glutes, core, and total body.

​

What do I need at home?  A sturdy chair, light weights, a mat or comfortable surface.  Don't have all the props?  No worries, modifications can be made.

Pilates & Conditioning
for Dancers

Designed for dancers, but all are welcome!  This class will Keep You Moving while diving into the technical training dancers need to improve their alignment, flexibility, and strength, which will help you perform at your best whether it's ballet or modern.  In this class, you will experience extensive technical cueing as well as a continuous flow of choreography that will keep you moving, and dripping sweat by the end.

What do I need at home? Light weights and a mat.  Don't have all of the props? No worries, modifications can be made!

Pilates Fusion

Keep it Moving in this Pilates based mat class utilizing a continuous sequence of movements designed to strengthen and tone your entire core and improve your posture. As a bonus, this class will also work to lift and sculpt your glutes and tone your arms. 

​

What do I need at home?  A mat, a light set of weights, and a ball/cushion/or pillow.
